Some puppies earn their names, and then there are puppies like Princess Yaya, who simply are their names. From the moment she wakes up until the moment she drifts off to sleep, this little girl carries herself like royalty—with just the right amount of sweetness, charm, and affection to steal every heart she meets.
Yaya’s favorite place in the world is wherever you are. She is the kind of puppy who happily curls up on her pillow beside you, settles into your lap during movie night, or nestles onto your shoulder or chest and falls asleep within moments. There is something incredibly comforting about her presence. She doesn’t demand attention—she simply becomes part of your world so naturally that before long, you can’t imagine life without her.
One of Yaya’s most endearing qualities is how closely she stays connected to her people. She loves following us from room to room, always wanting to know what exciting adventure might be happening next. Yet despite her devotion, she has remarkable spatial awareness and is careful not to be underfoot or create chaos around the house. She seems to naturally understand how to move with her family rather than around them.
And then there are those eyes.
Yaya has the kind of eyes that stop people in their tracks. Deep, expressive, and full of love, they seem to melt anyone lucky enough to look into them. She has a way of making every person feel special, seen, and adored.
We have intentionally kept Yaya with us a little longer than many of our puppies because we wanted to ensure she reached the size and maturity we hoped for before joining her forever family. During her extended stay, she has blossomed into a wonderfully prepared companion. She is potty trained, crate trained, and accustomed to a structured routine. While she’s rarely required to spend time in a crate while we’re home (she’s much too busy being part of the family ), she does settle nicely in one when we leave the house.
Because Yaya has spent so much time with her brother and enjoys companionship, we do recommend sending her home with a Snuggle Puppy or similar comfort companion to help with the transition. She is used to having a buddy nearby and loves being part of a close-knit family environment.
Yaya is also the type of puppy who refuses to miss out on life’s important moments. If there’s laughter, cuddles, visitors, snack time, or an adventure happening, she’ll be there to supervise it all. She has a curious spirit, a loving heart, and a wonderful balance of confidence and gentleness.
Most puppies are loved while they’re here. Yaya is one of those rare puppies who becomes unforgettable.
She is the puppy people ask about weeks later. The one visitors remember. The one children look for. The one who quietly works her way into your heart before you even realize it’s happening.
